My name is Charles Bradshaw, and I am a qualified therapist with over 20 years of experience in counselling. I practice in Oriel Chambers, located just a minute’s walk from Liverpool Town Hall. My specialisms include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centred Counselling. I help clients who are dealing with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I work strictly within their guidelines to offer professional care. With a BSc in Psychology, CBT qualifications, and mindfulness training, I am equipped to guide you on your journey to emotional well-being.
Whether you prefer in-person therapy or online sessions, I offer flexible options to suit your needs. My approach is compassionate, and I aim to create a safe space where you feel truly heard and understood.
I offer a wide range of services designed to meet your unique needs and challenges. These include:
CBT is a goal-focused therapy that helps clients change negative thought patterns. This method is highly effective for managing anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. Together, we will identify triggers and work to develop healthier thought processes.
Person-Centred therapy focuses on building a trusting relationship where you can feel fully supported. Through this approach, I aim to empower you to better understand your emotions and make positive changes in your life.
If you are struggling with stress or anxiety, I offer targeted strategies to help you cope. We will explore your feelings, identify causes, and develop techniques to manage overwhelming emotions.
Depression can be all-consuming, but therapy can help. I work with clients to explore the root causes of their depression and offer practical tools for managing symptoms and improving your mood.
If you suffer from OCD or PTSD, I offer therapy to help you manage intrusive thoughts and trauma-related symptoms. I will support you in building resilience and finding healthier ways to cope with difficult emotions.
For those with social anxiety, I offer home visits. If you find it difficult to attend sessions in person, I will come to you, helping you feel more comfortable and supported in your journey.
I offer flexible session formats, including face-to-face, online, and telephone counselling. You can choose the method that feels most comfortable for you. I also provide home visits for clients who experience social anxiety.
I follow a strict ethical framework in all my work. Your confidentiality and well-being are my priority. I aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment where you feel safe to explore your concerns.
If you’re ready to take the first step towards healing, I invite you to reach out. Together, we will create a personalised plan to help you achieve emotional well-being.
