Charlie Kirkby Integrative Therapist Bristol is dedicated to helping adults understand and transform their mental health. With a grounded, compassionate approach, Charlie encourages clients to explore their emotions, behaviours, and beliefs. From the start, she focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships that foster trust, healing, and insight.
Charlie uses an integrative approach, meaning she draws from multiple therapeutic models to meet each person’s unique needs. Rather than following one rigid method, she tailors her sessions to the individual. As a result, clients benefit from a more flexible, personalized experience. This approach empowers individuals to make meaningful changes in how they relate to themselves and the world around them.
Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns shaped by their past. Charlie explores how earlier life experiences influence current thoughts and behaviours. She also offers eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful method for working through trauma. This technique helps individuals safely process and release distressing memories so they can move forward.
Since 2022, Charlie has worked at The Priory, bringing her integrative expertise to a respected clinical environment. As a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited therapist, she upholds the highest professional standards. Clients can feel confident they are receiving evidence-based care in a safe and supportive space.
Charlie’s formal training includes:
Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
Certificate in Integrative Psychotherapy

Her education supports her commitment to continual learning and client-focused practice.
