Welcome to Chichester Child Psychology. We are a registered Clinical Psychology practice, specialising in Infant, Child, and Adolescent Mental Health. Based in Chichester, West Sussex, we offer high-quality, evidence-based assessment and intervention services to children aged 0-18 and their families. We extend our services across West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, and even to those willing to travel from further afield.
Our practice provides flexible, independent clinics, designed to meet the specific needs of children, young people, and their families. We understand that every individual is unique. Therefore, we offer a personalised approach to each case, tailoring our assessments and therapeutic interventions to address a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health difficulties.
At Chichester Child Psychology, we take a collaborative approach to our work. We believe that no two children or families are the same, so we aim to understand your specific needs and goals. Our team works closely with you to identify these goals, ensuring that the advice and support provided is always relevant and appropriate for your family’s circumstances.
We advocate for early intervention and prevention. If you have concerns about your child or young person’s emotional or mental well-being, we encourage you to seek an assessment as soon as possible. Often, the earlier an issue is addressed, the better the outcome. No concern is too small, and we are here to guide and support you throughout the process.
We offer a range of services, including:
Comprehensive Assessments: Tailored to understand the child’s emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs.
Therapeutic Interventions: Providing evidence-based interventions aimed at improving mental health and emotional well-being.
Family Support: Working closely with parents and carers to provide strategies for managing behavioural and emotional difficulties at home.
Early Intervention: Focusing on prevention and addressing issues before they escalate.
Chichester Child Psychology values a collaborative, family-centered approach. We are fully committed to providing support in a compassionate and professional environment. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, behavioural difficulties, emotional distress, or any other mental health concern, we are here to help you and your child navigate these challenges.
We understand that seeking psychological support can be a big step. That’s why we aim to make the process as comfortable and seamless as possible. Our services are flexible, and we adapt to your family’s needs.
If you have any questions or wish to schedule an assessment, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Early intervention can make a significant difference, so we encourage you to act if you have any concerns regarding your child’s mental health.
