About Claire Beattie

Claire Beattie is a qualified Educational Psychologist with over 20 years of professional experience. Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), Claire is deeply committed to supporting individuals across different stages of life. Her qualifications include a Master’s in Educational Psychology and an Honours degree in General Psychology.

Claire works from a holistic approach, drawing on Psychoanalytical training and Attachment Theory to help individuals navigate life’s challenges. She has a particular focus on anxiety, offering both counselling and guidance grounded in evidence-based psychological practices. Claire also takes a solution-focused approach to help individuals thrive, supporting their emotional and psychological growth.

Having trained and worked internationally in South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States, Claire brings a global perspective to her practice. She currently practices in Cape Town, South Africa.
