Art Therapist Solihull
- Solihull, UK
Darja Lee Psychotherapist London offers tailored support to individuals navigating mental health and addiction challenges. Her approach is warm, trauma-informed, and rooted in deep clinical training. She creates a space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to heal.
Darja is an experienced, integrative therapist who combines a range of therapeutic models. Her main style is psychodynamic and relational, grounded in attachment theory. However, she adapts her methods based on your individual needs.
She integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), counselling, and trauma-focused techniques. Because no single model fits all, she works collaboratively to develop a unique path for your recovery.
Darja treats a wide range of psychological issues. These include:
Alcohol and drug addiction
Sex and love addiction
ADHD and ASD
Anxiety and panic attacks
Depression and mood disorders
Personality disorders and interpersonal difficulties
Sleep issues, stress, and work-related burnout
Suicidal thoughts and self-harm
PTSD and postnatal depression
Whether you’re coping with trauma, relationship problems, or compulsive behaviours, Darja brings insight and clarity. Moreover, her goal is to help you reconnect with yourself and others in a meaningful way.
Darja offers both short-term (6–12 sessions) and open-ended therapy. In every case, she collaborates with you to decide where the initial focus should be.
Often, addiction and mental health issues overlap. Darja recognises this complexity and ensures treatment is carefully paced. In some cases, one issue may require immediate attention. In others, you may benefit from an integrative focus on multiple concerns.
Darja holds a PgDip in Advanced Clinical Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is currently completing her MA at The Minster Centre.
She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). In addition, Darja has worked with both abstinence-based and harm reduction models. This includes time at the West London Centre for Counselling, part of the IAPT network.
Alongside her clinical practice, Darja is passionate about neurodiversity. She has a deep interest in ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, especially when they occur with addiction.
Her dissertation explores bereavement therapy—a subject close to her heart. Darja also provides therapy in both English and Slovenian.
