Dr Amanda Northridge graduated from St Thomas’ Hospital in London. She holds qualifications in MRCGP, FRACGP, and DR. With over 30 years of experience, Dr Northridge has worked in both the NHS and private sectors, offering services across London, Australia, and Oxford. This extensive background has allowed her to develop a broad understanding of patient care and healthcare systems.
Dr Amanda Northridge began her career in Fulham, London, before moving into private practice in central London. She quickly recognized that the extra time spent with patients made a significant difference in their health outcomes. This insight led her to focus on becoming a full-time private GP. Moreover, Dr Northridge’s career took her on an unexpected journey when a six-month trip to Australia turned into nine years of working as a GP in two Australian cities. During her time there, she deepened her expertise and developed a strong foundation in general practice.
In 2010, Dr Amanda Northridge founded the Mayfield Clinic in Oxford, bringing together a talented team to serve the local community. This clinic offers a comprehensive range of services, focusing on personalized and patient-centered care. Dr Northridge’s passion for helping her patients maintain their health and well-being is evident in the clinic’s holistic approach to care. Outside of her professional life, Dr Amanda Northridge enjoys spending time with her family. She has three children and recently welcomed two grandchildren into her life.
