He earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in 2001 and his MBChB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Nelson Mandela School of Medicine in 2006. Subsequently, he completed his internship at Addington/Mahatma Gandhi Complex and served his community at Piet Retief Hospital in 2009. During this time, he obtained certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
