Meet Dr Ayesha Ramjan Medical Doctor Rondebosch

Dr Ayesha grew up in King William’s Town, Eastern Cape. From a young age, she was inspired by her father, a dedicated GP in a rural community. She often accompanied him to his practice, which deepened her passion for patient care.

She initially studied Biochemistry at the University of Pretoria and excelled in her field. However, missing direct patient interaction, she turned down a Malaria research grant. Instead, she pursued medicine at WITS through the GEMP program and graduated as a doctor in 2019.

Experience and Passion for Patient Care

During her internship and community service in Johannesburg, Dr Ayesha worked in Covid wards and multiple clinics. This experience strengthened her dedication to helping others.

In 2023, she moved to Cape Town and began working as a GP in private practice. Her passion for patient care remains at the heart of everything she does.

Dr Ayesha believes in personalized treatment for every patient. She integrates various tools and treatment methods to improve overall health.
