Dr Bathabile Pearl Nkosi Paediatrician Randburg: Committed to Your Child’s Health

Dr Bathabile Pearl Nkosi Paediatrician Randburg is passionate about providing exceptional care to children. My journey in medicine started at Wits University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (2005) and a BSc Honours in Biochemistry (2006). Afterward, I pursued my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (2012). I further expanded my expertise by completing a Diploma in Child Health (2015) from the Colleges of Medicine SA. In 2021, I received my Fellowship of Paediatricians from the Colleges of Medicine SA.

A Journey of Hands-On Paediatric Experience

I began working with children in 2014. My first experience came with a two-year internship at Sebokeng Provincial Hospital (Vereeniging), followed by a year of community service in the Paediatric Department at Klerksdorp (NW). This experience confirmed my passion for paediatrics and helped me realize that this would be my lifelong career. I continued my training at Thelle Mogoerane Hospital (Vosloorus, Gauteng) and Tembisa Provincial Hospital. Both hospitals offered valuable opportunities to expand my clinical knowledge and skills.

Registrar Training and Advanced Learning

In 2017, I enrolled in the registrarship programme specialising in paediatrics at the University of Pretoria. During this time, I trained at Steve Biko Academic Hospital, Kalafong Hospital, and Tembisa Hospital. These hospitals exposed me to some of the best paediatric professors and specialists in the country. In 2021, I had the privilege of working at the prestigious Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital, further refining my skills and broadening my understanding of paediatric care.
