Dr Corlene Schnetler joined Cape Periodontal Specialists as a partner in 2019. She is passionate about periodontics, oral medicine, and implantology, as well as training and education. By lecturing and staying involved in education, she remains at the forefront of the latest trends and technology, ensuring her patients receive the best possible care.
Dr Schnetler completed her undergraduate dental training at the University of Pretoria. She later specialised in Oral Medicine and Periodontics, earning her degree with distinction (Cum Laude) after completing a four-year full-time programme.
As a clinical registrar, she facilitated numerous implantology courses at the University of Pretoria. In 2018, she became a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and regularly speaks at national and international conferences on dental implantology. She also plays an active role in the training and education of dentists and is a member of the Women in Implantology Network (WIN).
Dr Schnetler serves on the task force for Young ITI South Africa and has organised numerous educational events since 2018. She currently lectures at the Bridge Programme and the Implant Aesthetic Academy.
