Dr Craig Solomon is an Orthopaedic Surgeon practising at Mediclinic Cape Gate Hospital and its Day Clinic in Brackenfell. Moreover, he brings over two decades of musculoskeletal expertise to every consultation. He graduated with an MBChB from Stellenbosch University in 2001 and earned a BSc (Hons) in Sports Medicine in 2005, underpinning his skill in treating athletic injuries.
Furthermore, Dr Solomon completed his specialist training with a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery (FC Orth (SA)) in 2010. Then, in 2011, he undertook a 12-month fellowship at the Royal Gwent and St Woolos Hospitals in Wales, focusing on primary and complex hip replacements. Consequently, he pioneered South Africa’s first robotic joint-replacement programme in 2016, enhancing surgical precision for hip and knee arthroplasty.
