Dr Ebele Tunkuda GP Peterborough leads a caring, professional practice dedicated to both excellent patient care and medical education. Therefore, we host GP Registrars and Foundation Year 2 doctors (F2s) who support the team under direct supervision. Moreover, their presence helps improve access to timely appointments and varied clinical expertise.
GP Registrars are doctors training to become fully qualified General Practitioners. Typically, they complete at least two years in hospitals before joining us. Consequently, they bring current clinical knowledge and hands-on experience. They stay with the practice for up to one year. Furthermore, they work under close supervision by our senior GPs.
Similarly, Foundation Year 2 doctors are in their second year of postgraduate training. Although licensed, they are still exploring their career path. For this reason, they rotate into general practice for a four-month placement. Additionally, these F2 doctors receive daily guidance to ensure safe, effective care for all patients.
