Dr. Gem Elizabeth George-Tharakan is a dedicated clinical haematologist at ACT Pretoria East Haematology Centre, a specialist division of the DRS ALBERTS, BOUWER & JORDAAN (ABJ) group. She completed her MBChB at the University of Transkei (UNITRA)—now known as Walter Sisulu University (WSU)—in the Eastern Cape. Then, she pursued her internship at 2 Military Hospital in the Western Cape.
