Dr Jennifer O’Connell Clinical Psychologist London offers more than a decade of specialist experience in the field of mental and physical health. She supports individuals across the lifespan with compassion and skill, drawing on her rich background in both the UK and Ireland. Currently, she serves in both private practice and within King’s College NHS Foundation Trust.
Jennifer specialises in helping those impacted by complex trauma and interpersonal difficulties. Her advanced clinical knowledge comes from years of dedicated work in mental health services. Not only does she help individuals recover from trauma, but she also empowers them to rediscover their strengths and values.
She works with clients facing post-traumatic stress, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, anger, and health-related anxiety. She also offers support to those who have experienced early attachment wounds or are facing relationship difficulties. Jennifer understands that each person’s story matters, and she tailors every treatment plan accordingly.
Jennifer began her journey in psychological research with a master’s degree from University College London, graduating with distinction. She then completed her doctoral training at Royal Holloway, University of London, qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist. Always committed to growth, she is currently pursuing postgraduate trauma studies with University College Cork and the Wave Trauma Centre in Belfast.
