About

Dr Jonathan Cohen is a dedicated and experienced dentist based in Milnerton. A Cape Town native, he matriculated from Herzlia High School in 1981 and earned his dental qualification from Stellenbosch University in 1987. Following this, he spent two years in the SADF, managing multiple dental surgeries in the Northern Cape.

Dr Cohen established his first private practice in Cape Town’s city centre in 1990. In 1994, he co-founded the Milnerton Practice with Dr David Sheinbar. Since 1999, he has focused solely on this Milnerton practice, providing high-quality dental care to the community.

With a strong commitment to paediatric dentistry, Dr Cohen completed a postgraduate diploma in Paediatric Dentistry at Stellenbosch University in 2002 and 2003. He also contributed to undergraduate training in the field. While he practices as a general dentist, his passion lies in treating children and ensuring their dental experience is gentle and stress-free.

He lives in Milnerton with his wife, Sharyn, and their two children, Alex and Zac. Beyond dentistry, Dr Cohen has been actively involved in coaching junior soccer in the Table View area for the past five years.
