Meet Our Team

• Dr Liezl Kemp (Founder & Principal Dentist)
  Born in Oudtshoorn, Dr Kemp grew up in a dental family. She studied at Stellenbosch University, where she actively participated in cultural and sports activities and served as Head Student of her hostel in 2006. She completed her BChD degree in 2007 after Stellenbosch University merged with UWC and earned a prize for excellence in Orthodontics.

  After completing her community service at 3 Military Hospital in Bloemfontein, she gained extensive experience in full mouth rehabilitations, orthodontics, and implants. She moved to Cape Town and worked in private practice before founding Dr Liezl Kemp & Associates in 2013.

• Dr Dirk Fick (Endodontist)
  Dr Fick graduated from Stellenbosch University and completed his community service in 2006 at 121 Battalion in KwaZulu-Natal. He gained international experience working in the Netherlands in 2009 before returning to South Africa to earn a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics at Stellenbosch University. He joined Dr Liezl Kemp & Associates in 2021 and has since provided precise, pain-free root canal treatments.
• Dr Jessie Brand (Associate Dentist)
  Dr Brand graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2019 and quickly earned recognition for her academic excellence. She won the Undergraduate Competition for UWC’s Faculty Research Day (May 2019) and the International Association of Dental Research (August 2019).
