Dr Manish Singh GP Sheffield welcomes you to Carrfield Medical Centre, part of the Heeley Plus Primary Care Network. Our clinic offers compassionate, accessible healthcare to the people of Sheffield. We strive to provide efficient care that prioritises your needs.
To book an appointment, submit a request through our secure online form. This is the fastest way to reach our clinical team. However, if you have accessibility needs, please call us at 0114 258 4724. For those without such needs, our reception may direct you to complete the online form.
For urgent medical concerns, especially emergencies, please do not use the form. Instead, call 999 or NHS 111 if immediate attention is required.
If you feel unwell and need to be seen quickly, contact the practice immediately. One of our doctors will assess your condition over the phone and offer same-day appointments if needed. Routine appointments, such as vaccinations or smear tests, can be arranged or rescheduled by calling our reception.
Additionally, if you used a self-booking link, you may change or cancel your appointment online—up to 12 hours before. Otherwise, please call us.
We prioritise emergency home visit requests at all times. For home visits, please call before 10:30 AM so our team can organise their rounds efficiently. Moreover, home visits are reserved for patients who are genuinely housebound or whose condition prevents safe travel.
For instance, terminally ill patients or those with severe conditions—like disc prolapse—are typical home visit cases.
When we are closed, call NHS 111 for advice. This service is free, available 24/7, and supports non-life-threatening issues. In contrast, for life-threatening emergencies, dial 999.
Examples of such emergencies include:
Suspected heart attack
Chest pain
Stroke symptoms
Severe breathing issues
Head injury
Unconsciousness
Stay calm, help the person, but never put yourself at risk. Do not offer food or drinks unless advised.
A&E is for serious or life-threatening conditions only. For this reason, avoid using it for non-urgent needs. For example, a deep wound or suspected fracture can be treated in A&E if the situation is not critical.
Consequently, calling NHS 111 helps guide you to the right service if you’re unsure.
For general health advice, visit the NHS website. It offers reliable, updated guidance across a wide range of conditions and treatments.
