She began her career as Consultant Psychiatrist at DGM Hospital in 2005. Subsequently, she served as Senior Specialist in the Bojanala District from 2006 to 2007. Later, she joined the Tshwane-Metsweding District as Senior Specialist until 2010. As a result, she honed skills in inpatient care, community mental health and programme coordination.
