Dr. Weis has worked with generations of surgical teams and has helped shape modern anaesthetic practices through his expertise and mentorship.
Dr. Weis provides a full suite of anaesthetic services, carefully designed to ensure patient safety and comfort across a wide range of surgical procedures:
Preoperative Assessment and Consultation: Carefully reviews each patient’s medical background, allergies, and previous responses to anaesthesia. Designs a plan that minimizes risk and ensures the patient is prepared both physically and mentally.
General Anaesthesia: Administers anaesthetic agents to induce deep sleep and complete loss of sensation. Constantly monitors patient vitals and adjusts levels to maintain stability during major surgeries.
Regional Anaesthesia: Applies spinal, epidural, or nerve blocks depending on the procedure. This method allows the patient to remain conscious while eliminating pain in targeted areas.
Sedation Services: Offers minimal to moderate sedation for shorter procedures. Ideal for dental, endoscopic, or outpatient settings where full anaesthesia isn’t required.
Obstetric Anaesthesia: Supports labor and delivery with tailored pain relief solutions such as epidural analgesia or spinal blocks. Ensures the safety of both mother and child.
Paediatric Anaesthesia: Customizes care for children, ensuring emotional comfort and physical safety. Carefully calculates dosages and uses child-appropriate techniques.
Postoperative Pain Management: Develops personalized plans for pain control after surgery. Focuses on reducing opioid use where possible and promoting faster recovery.
Dr. Weis emphasizes teamwork and communication in every phase of surgical care. He collaborates with surgeons, nurses, and recovery staff to deliver seamless support before, during, and after procedures. His ability to remain composed and responsive under pressure has earned him the trust of colleagues and patients alike.
He also values patient education. Before administering anaesthesia, he explains the process clearly, answers all questions, and helps patients feel confident in their care plan. He adapts techniques to each individual’s needs using both traditional methods and the latest innovations.
Place your trust in Dr. Otto Frans Weis. With unmatched experience and a personal approach, he ensures your comfort, safety, and peace of mind throughout every procedure.
