Dr Rebecca Tucker Clinical Psychologist Cornwall brings expertise and compassion to every client she works with. She recently joined our team after completing her final placement year with us during her doctoral training in 2023. From the start, Rebecca has dedicated herself to supporting adults, children, young people, and families through various psychological challenges.
Rebecca works with a wide range of difficulties. For instance, she supports clients dealing with low mood, depression, anxiety, trauma, phobias, OCD, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, abuse, and bereavement. Moreover, she specializes in helping children and young people in foster care or who are adopted. Consequently, her approach blends empathy with evidence-based interventions.
Rebecca holds advanced training in several therapeutic approaches. She completed specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Couple Therapy for Depression, and Personal Development Coaching. Additionally, she has foundation-level accreditations in Cognitive Analytic Therapy and Systemic Theory and Practice. Therefore, she can tailor her interventions to meet individual needs.

Outside her professional life, Rebecca enjoys reformer Pilates, journaling, and relaxing with her cat when it allows a cuddle. She savours quiet moments with a warm cup of chai. These hobbies help her maintain balance and stay grounded, ultimately benefiting her work with clients.
