Dr Sarah MacLennan GP Norwich: Appointments and Clinical Training Support

Dr Sarah MacLennan GP Norwich leads a practice that values both patient care and future doctor development. Therefore, our clinic supports the education of GP Registrars and Foundation Year 2 doctors, known as F2s. These doctors work closely under supervision and provide a high standard of care. Moreover, they help us offer more appointment options while gaining essential experience.

Training Future GPs with Dr Sarah MacLennan GP Norwich

A GP Registrar is a fully qualified doctor training to become a General Practitioner. They usually work in hospitals for two years before joining a practice. At our clinic, Registrars stay for up to one year. Furthermore, they receive hands-on training under the close guidance of a senior GP or trainer. This ensures that patients benefit from both fresh perspectives and experienced oversight.

Similarly, F2 doctors are in their second foundation year post-medical school. These doctors spend four months in general practice. Although their time with us is brief, they contribute greatly to the team. Consequently, you might be offered an appointment with one of them during your visit.

Types of Appointments Available

We provide several types of appointments to suit different needs. For instance, you might have a consultation over the phone, by video, or face to face. At the same time, we also offer follow-ups by text or email when appropriate. This flexibility allows us to deliver care in ways that suit your schedule.
