Dr Sumra Rehman GP Peterborough UK is committed to delivering excellent care, guidance, and health services for all registered patients. We support you with professionalism, whether you’re booking appointments, collecting prescriptions, or receiving referrals.
Many services are available directly. However, for GP-related care, you must register with our practice first. Therefore, we encourage early registration to avoid delays.
When you need to consult a GP, contact the practice to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins may not be seen and could be asked to return.
Furthermore, your GP might request tests. In such cases, they will explain the process and how to get your results. Some tests happen here; others take place off-site.
Always arrive on time for your appointment. If you can’t make it, let us know in advance. Consequently, someone else can use that time.
Moreover, if multiple family members need help, please book separate appointments. For complex concerns, inform reception when booking. As a result, we can allow enough time.
On the other hand, repeated no-shows may lead to removal from our patient list.
If treatment is needed, your GP will issue a prescription. Take it to a pharmacy to get your medicine.
Similarly, test results take time to arrive. Therefore, wait for us to contact you before calling.
If specialist care is necessary, we will refer you. You cannot access NHS specialists without a GP referral.
If you need an interpreter, let us know in advance. We can arrange phone or in-person support.
Additionally, if someone else calls on your behalf, remind them to request an interpreter when needed.
We promise to treat you with kindness and respect. Likewise, we ask you to do the same for our team.
Furthermore, inform us if you change your contact details. This helps keep your records up to date.
Although practices are often busy, we aim to answer phones quickly and help everyone efficiently.
Visit a pharmacist for minor illnesses like colds or coughs. Similarly, optometrists treat eye conditions.
For dental issues, see your dentist. For foot problems, use podiatry services.
If the practice is closed, call our number. Your call will go to the Out of Hours team or NHS 111, which is open 24/7.
