Dr Suné Mulder van Staden is a Specialist in Oral Medicine and Periodontics, with qualifications from the University of Stellenbosch (BCHD US/UWC) and University of the Western Cape (MCHD UWC). She completed her postgraduate training in 2017 and is currently involved in both private practice and teaching postgraduate students at the University of the Western Cape (UWC).
Dr Mulder van Staden has been an active member of several dental committees in South Africa and holds prestigious roles, including an ITI (International Team for Implantology) Fellow and UWC ITI Study Club Director. Her research contributions and patented dental innovations reflect her dedication to advancing the field.
Her passion extends to animals, having provided pro-bono dental treatments for chimpanzees at the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary in 2018, as well as assisting local veterinarians with animal dental care.
