GP Education at Dr Swapna Anchuri GP Peterborough
GP Registrars are doctors who are fully qualified and completing specialist training to become General Practitioners. Typically, they’ve worked in hospital settings for at least two years before joining us. Consequently, they bring strong clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge. Registrars stay at the practice for up to one year. Furthermore, our senior GPs offer daily oversight and mentorship.
Similarly, Foundation Year 2 doctors are in their second year of postgraduate training. Although licensed, they are still choosing a career path. For this reason, they rotate into general practice for four months. Additionally, our team closely supervises F2s to ensure safe and effective care.
