Dr Tebogo Deo – Gynaecologist & Fertility Specialist – Erasmuskloof leads the multidisciplinary team at Genesis Reproductive Centre. She earned her BSc in Microbiology & Biochemistry from Rhodes University in 1992 and then graduated MBChB at MEDUNSA (SMU) in 1997, receiving the Mokgokong Award for Best Student in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Subsequently, she completed her specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Groote Schuur Hospital, University of Cape Town, where she won the Golden Speculum Award for top gynaecological research in 2006. Moreover, in 2017, Dr Deo obtained her Sub-Specialty Certificate in Reproductive Medicine jointly from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa and the University of Cape Town.
