About Dr Meintjes

Dr Theresa Meintjes is a highly experienced urologist practising at Medi-Clinic Durbanville. Since starting private practice in 2016, she has been dedicated to providing expert urological care to her patients.

Beyond her Durbanville practice, Dr Meintjes is committed to reaching underserved communities. Every eight weeks, she conducts an outreach clinic in Vredendal, treating patients from outlying areas such as Springbok and Namaqualand.

Dr Meintjes grew up on a farm near Reitz in the Free State and completed her medical degree at the University of the Free State in 2006. Her passion for urology began during her community service at Kimberley Hospital, where she gained valuable surgical and urological experience. She later specialised in Urology at Tygerberg Academic Hospital and completed her postgraduate studies at Stellenbosch University.
