Dr Uttom Chowdhury practices as a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at Clinical Partners’ London clinic in Marylebone. With more than fifteen years of dedicated clinical service, he specialises in neurodevelopmental disorders and complex psychiatric presentations. He earned his MBChB from the University of Manchester before completing his MRCPsych at University College London. Furthermore, he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT from the Institute of Psychiatry. Early in his career, he trained at Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital, the Maudsley, and the Tavistock clinics. Consequently, he developed expertise in assessing and treating Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anorexia nervosa, and obsessive–compulsive disorder. His book Tics and Tourette Syndrome: A Handbook for Parents and Professionals has been translated into five languages.
