Dr Winifred Asia is a qualified Prosthodontist who obtained her undergraduate Dental Degree (BChD) in 2005 at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). She earned her specialist qualification (MChD) in Prosthodontics from UWC in 2017. Before starting her master’s studies, Dr Asia worked for 12 years as a senior dentist in the Department of Health.
Dr Asia currently works as a specialist consultant and senior lecturer at the University of the Western Cape’s Tygerberg and Mitchell’s Plain Oral Health Centres. She trains and lectures undergraduate students in prosthetic dentistry, implantology, aesthetic dentistry, and occlusion.
We focus on providing a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment planning, ensuring the success and longevity of treatments through evidence-based practices and the latest technology in the field.
