About Elemental Health Ltd

Elemental Health Ltd was founded in 2015 by Ange McMillan, an accredited counsellor with extensive experience supporting young people. Before setting up the company, Ange ran counselling services in schools and sixth forms. She also draws from her own experiences of systemic trauma and years of living with anxiety.

Recognising that many young people lack awareness of how trauma affects them physically and emotionally, Ange began teaching PHSE sessions on emotional literacy to Year 9 students. Her aim was straightforward: to help young people support one another and, in doing so, support themselves.

Later, Ange trained as a Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid and Suicide First Aid instructor. She also developed training programmes for adults involved in young people’s lives, such as parents, carers, and teachers. Her approach is trauma-responsive, neuro-affirming, and focused on creating inclusive, safe spaces.

Services Provided

Elemental Health Ltd offers counselling to teenagers experiencing anxiety. These sessions provide a safe and understanding environment where young people can explore their feelings and learn coping skills. Furthermore, Ange supports parents and carers, helping them understand anxiety and how best to assist their children.

In addition to counselling, Elemental Health delivers workshops, training, and coaching for adults. These programmes teach trauma awareness and mental health first aid. Importantly, they encourage calm, regulated, and connected responses to young people’s emotional needs, which enhances their ability to thrive.
