Emma Yuill Cognitive Behavioural Therapist Glasgow provides professional and compassionate therapy to help you overcome challenges. With over 10 years of experience, Emma guides you toward meaningful change by focusing on your unique goals. She believes in empowering you to develop your own resources and move away from difficulties.
Emma uses a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approach combined with other therapeutic methods. Together, you explore your problems deeply and identify unhelpful thinking patterns or behaviours causing distress. This collaborative process helps you understand your challenges and build strategies for positive change.
Emma holds a BSc Hons Science degree and a COSCA certificate in counselling skills. She also completed the SCOTACS diploma in counselling with a CBT focus at the Centre of Therapy, Glasgow. Additionally, Emma undertook DBT skills training essentials through British Isles Training. Her diverse training supports her ability to tailor therapy to your individual needs.
Since joining Priory in 2017 as a cognitive behavioural therapist, Emma has worked with a broad range of issues. She applies her skills to help clients tackle anxiety, depression, stress, and many other conditions. Moreover, her extensive experience enables her to support clients through adjustment disorders, anger management, and personality disorders.
Emma offers therapy for multiple conditions including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, phobias, postnatal depression, bereavement, and self-harm. She tailors her approach based on your specific challenges to promote lasting well-being.
