Even Keel Counselling is a private counselling practice based in Wrexham, founded by Keli Evans. After redundancy in 2008, Keli enrolled in an Introduction to Counselling night class to explore a new career path. This sparked a passion for therapy, leading her to qualify as a counsellor in 2013. Since then, she has combined her dedication with a calm, empathetic approach to support clients through life’s challenges.

Keli officially launched Even Keel Counselling in 2014. Early on, she balanced her private practice with volunteering for the NHS and a rape and sexual abuse charity. In 2019, she qualified as a Clinical Supervisor, enabling her to support other counsellors with professional supervision. By 2020, Keli committed full-time to her private practice, focusing on building trusting therapeutic relationships that empower clients to find balance and wellbeing.

Her practice emphasises creating a safe, non-judgemental environment where clients feel heard. She believes therapy should be a collaborative journey, where you decide what to work on while she offers guidance and support.
