At Everything Changes Canterbury, I offer a warm, reflective counselling space where you can explore life’s complexities and uncertainties. My practice is grounded in a deep personal understanding of how difficult—but also transformative—life changes can be. Like many people, I’ve navigated complex relationships, overwhelming emotions, and events that could not be undone. I know what it means to seek clarity in the face of confusion and to want peace amidst emotional chaos.
My own journey led me to therapy, both as a client and later as a counsellor. Having someone really listen helped me make sense of what felt unmanageable. That experience of being heard and understood allowed me to see myself—and my situation—more clearly. It also shaped my decision to offer this same compassionate, grounded support to others.
I draw inspiration and resilience from nature, Zen meditation in the Plum Village tradition, and Tai Chi. Long-distance hiking also helps me reconnect with my strength and clarity. These practices keep me balanced and centred, allowing me to bring calm, steady presence into every session.
Based in Canterbury, Kent, I welcome clients from across East Kent—including Ashford, Folkestone, and Faversham—as well as those seeking online therapy. Whether you are coping with grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, or long-standing emotional patterns, I will work with you to find stability, meaning, and encouragement.
At Everything Changes Canterbury, I offer individual counselling sessions tailored to your unique needs and goals. This therapeutic space invites you to reflect, process, and grow—without judgement and at your own pace.
Counselling can support you if you are:
Struggling with emotional overwhelm or anxiety
Facing life transitions such as divorce, bereavement, or career change
Experiencing relationship difficulties or recurring patterns
Looking for greater self-awareness or direction in life
Navigating unresolved issues that continue to affect you
In each session, you remain at the centre of the work. While I bring experience and therapeutic techniques, it is your voice, experience, and healing that shape the direction of our time together. I also offer online counselling, providing flexible access for clients beyond the Canterbury area.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working in accordance with their Ethical Framework. I receive regular clinical supervision and hold an enhanced DBS certificate through my volunteer role with The Compassionate Friends.
Qualifications and Training:
CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling
First-class BA (Hons) in Philosophy and Creative Writing
My approach integrates empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for your individuality. At Everything Changes Canterbury, you’ll find a place to explore your experiences, build resilience, and move forward—however uncertain the road may seem.
