Fiona McDonald Consultant Clinical Oncologist Newcastle leads cancer care at the Freeman Hospital’s Northern Centre for Cancer Care. Dr Fiona McDonald graduated from Dundee University in 1990. She completed her oncology training in Edinburgh, earning an MSc in Clinical Oncology. Later, she moved to Newcastle, where she became a Consultant at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care (NCCC) in 2002. Since then, she has maintained an active role in delivering exceptional oncology care.
In addition to clinical work, Dr McDonald actively drives clinical research. She serves as principal investigator and co-investigator on several important cancer trials.
