Freya Lampard Psychotherapist Dursley offers a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your inner world safely. I provide therapy that allows you to grieve, release anger, face anxieties, and move towards fulfilment. Our work together aims to help you understand your life and feel more free in your choices.
If you're reading this, something in your life likely needs attention. Perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stuck. Maybe you're grieving, battling depression, or working through relationship struggles. You might be haunted by past trauma or unsure why things feel so heavy.
Although friends and family may support you, therapy offers something unique. It allows you to speak freely without judgment. Moreover, it gives you a space to explore patterns, thoughts, and emotions with someone trained to help.
I work with a Humanistic and Integrative model. This means I believe in your ability to change and heal. I integrate several methods so therapy suits your individual needs. Because you're unique, your therapy should be too.
We won’t just talk—we’ll listen to your body, reflect on your environment, and explore your creativity. Dreams, silence, art, and stories may all have a place here.
Much of my work looks at relationships—especially the impact of early ones. Often, past dynamics shape present struggles. In therapy, those patterns may emerge. Together, we’ll examine them in real time.
Therapy also respects your whole self—mind, body, and environment. Physical reactions and surroundings provide insight. As a result, our work stays grounded and real.
We begin with a free 15-minute consultation. Then, we meet for a no-obligation session. This helps us both decide if we’re a good fit.
Sessions last 50 minutes and occur weekly. While some work may be short-term, therapy often unfolds over time. We'll regularly assess progress and agree together when to end.
You can see me at The Tashi Centre in Dursley or meet via Zoom. While I encourage in-person work, online sessions offer flexibility.
Besides client work, I supervise fellow therapists. I hold a Diploma in Supervision and follow a relational, systemic model. I also teach at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling.
