About Us

At Geelong Hand Therapy, we are dedicated to helping people recover strength, comfort, and function in their hands and arms. Since opening in 2000, we’ve supported thousands of individuals through tailored, expert rehabilitation. Our clinic is known across the region as a leader in hand and upper limb therapy, and we’re proud to now offer services in both Geelong and Torquay.

Our therapists specialise in treating a range of conditions that affect the hand, wrist, elbow, and upper arm. Whether it’s a sports injury, work accident, surgery recovery, or a condition linked to ageing, we provide clear and hands-on support. Every therapist at Geelong Hand Therapy is an occupational therapist with advanced training and a strong commitment to continued learning. Each is also a member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association, ensuring the highest level of professional care.

We believe that therapy works best when everyone’s on the same page. That’s why we work closely with your referring GP or surgeon to make sure your treatment is well coordinated and focused on the best possible results.

Our team provides complete rehabilitation for a wide range of issues affecting the upper limb, including:

• Motor vehicle accident recovery
  Tailored rehabilitation to restore function after injury from a car or motorbike accident.

We offer custom splinting, strength and movement exercises, pain management, education, and home exercise programs to help you regain independence and function.

Additional Information

Clinic Locations
Our main clinic is located at 3 Sydney Avenue, Geelong. We’re easy to reach from University Hospital Geelong (Barwon Health) and St John of God Hospital. For coastal clients, we also operate a Torquay clinic at the Torquay Medical & Wellness Centre, 1–3 Cylinder Drive.

NDIS Clients
We proudly support NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. Please note, we’re currently unable to see NDIA-managed clients.
