Annabelle Citroen – Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Annabelle is passionate about empowering patients through education and providing evidence-based, patient-centred care. She graduated with honours in Physiotherapy from The University of Melbourne in 2007 and has completed postgraduate studies specialising in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and Exercise for Women.

Annabelle’s extensive experience spans public and private health sectors, including roles at The Royal Women’s Hospital, Australian Prostate Centre, St Vincent’s Continence Service, and Barwon Health Continence Service. Currently, she works privately at Central Melbourne Gastroenterology and Geelong Pelvic Health.

Beyond her clinical work, Annabelle serves as president of the Continence Foundation of Australia Physiotherapy Special Interest Group. She also tutors in the University of Melbourne’s Postgraduate Certificate in Continence and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and regularly speaks at national and state conferences.

Outside work, Annabelle enjoys gardening, staying active outdoors with her husband and three children, and baking in the kitchen.
