Description

Georgia Orchard – Personalised Physiotherapy for Joints, Bones and Movement

About Georgia

Georgia Orchard is a qualified physiotherapist with a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and live more comfortably. Her clinical interests span a wide range of common muscle and joint concerns, and she has a particular focus on bone health and spinal function.

Georgia works with clients managing osteopenia, osteoporosis, and osteoarthritis, providing support through evidence-based treatments and functional exercise. She also enjoys assisting individuals recovering from acute injuries, guiding them back to – and often beyond – their previous level of movement and strength.

With a calm and supportive approach, Georgia treats each client as an individual. She uses hands-on techniques, targeted exercise therapy, and education to help people reach their health and mobility goals. Her focus is not only on relieving pain, but also on restoring confidence and preventing future issues.

Appointments and classes with Georgia are available at our Magill clinic, where she works closely with clients in a welcoming and modern setting.

Services

Georgia provides a wide range of physiotherapy services that cater to different age groups, levels of activity, and stages of recovery.

  • Joint and Muscle Treatment: Georgia assesses and treats common concerns such as shoulder, knee, hip, and ankle pain. She also works with muscle strains, overuse injuries, and postural imbalances.

  • Spinal Therapy: Many clients seek her help for neck (cervical), mid-back (thoracic), or lower back (lumbar) pain. Georgia uses a combination of manual therapy and active rehabilitation to reduce stiffness and improve function.

  • Bone Health Support: For those with low bone density, including osteopenia and osteoporosis, Georgia offers tailored exercise programs. These aim to improve balance, build strength, and reduce the risk of falls and fractures.

  • Osteoarthritis Management: Georgia has completed training in the GLA:D® programme, a globally recognised education and exercise program for hip and knee osteoarthritis. She uses this knowledge to help clients manage symptoms, stay active, and delay the need for surgery.

  • Pilates-Based Exercise: With further study in Pilates (floor and equipment), Georgia incorporates controlled movement into her sessions. This enhances strength, flexibility, and postural awareness, especially for those recovering from injury or dealing with chronic pain.
