Heloise Gevers is a registered bilingual who’s primary focus is educational psychology with practices based in Pretoria and Kempton Park (Johannesburg). I aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where clients feel comfortable and are free to express themselves without judgement. Thus I strive to help children, adolescents and families grow together to reach their full potential by providing tailored support for a variety of concerns. My approach is holistic and incorporates the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and moral aspects of the client’s life, to help them become the best versions of themselves.

As an educational psychologist, I work with both adults and children in addition to families and groups. My professional services include both psychological assessment and psychotherapy. Psychological assessments offer greater understanding into a person’s intellectual, academic and emotional functioning. Psychotherapy creates a space for clients to develop personal growth, and learn to adjust to and deal with life challenges more effectively. I provide play therapy, individual counselling, and family counselling to achieve these goals.
