Isabel completed her Master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics at La Trobe University in 2022. Since January 2023, she has been an important part of the Korthotics team. She specialises in working with children, focusing on custom orthotic devices and Dynamic Movement Orthoses (DMO). Her goal is to help young patients improve their movement and comfort with tailored treatments.
At Korthotics, Isabel works closely with children to understand their specific needs. She fits and adjusts different types of orthoses designed to support growth and improve movement. In particular, her work with Dynamic Movement Orthoses helps children who have neurological or muscle problems. These devices improve posture and motor control while encouraging more natural movements.
Isabel takes a hands-on, personalised approach with every patient. She makes sure that each orthosis fits well and works effectively. In addition, she guides families through the process, making it easier to manage treatment and progress.
Isabel has also gained valuable experience by visiting DM Orthotics in the UK. In 2024, she attended in-person training to improve her skills with Dynamic Movement Orthoses. This experience helps her bring the latest techniques to her work at Korthotics.
Moreover, Isabel is committed to learning and growing as a professional. This dedication means she stays updated with the newest ideas and best practices in paediatric orthotics. Because of this, her patients receive high-quality, up-to-date care.
In summary, Isabel offers caring and expert support for children needing orthotic treatment. She combines practical experience with a friendly approach to help young clients reach their best possible mobility and comfort. With Isabel’s guidance, children and their families can feel confident in their path toward improved wellbeing.
