Janine Schmidenberg Physiotherapy was founded in 2014 in the Fourways, Lonehill area and has since built a reputation for expert physiotherapy care. With extensive training in Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy, Janine has a special interest in treating back and neck pain as well as sports-related injuries.
Our approach is focused on hands-on therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and patient education to ensure long-term recovery and pain relief. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, struggling with chronic pain, or dealing with an acute injury, our goal is to provide comprehensive and effective treatment tailored to your needs.
Appointments are available Monday to Friday, with select availability on Saturdays.
We assess and treat a wide range of conditions related to muscles, joints, and soft tissue. Whether it’s back pain, neck tension, or general musculoskeletal discomfort, we use proven techniques to alleviate pain and restore function.
Sports injuries can be frustrating and debilitating. Our rehabilitation programmes focus on reducing pain, restoring movement, and strengthening the body to prevent future injuries. Whether you’re an athlete or a weekend warrior, we can help you recover safely and efficiently.
Respiratory conditions such as sinus congestion, bronchitis, and other lung-related issues can benefit from physiotherapy. We offer treatments to help clear congestion, improve breathing, and enhance overall respiratory function.
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain can lead to headaches, jaw discomfort, and difficulty chewing. We use specialised techniques to relieve tension, improve jaw function, and reduce associated pain.
Recovering from surgery or a significant injury requires careful, structured rehabilitation. We develop personalised treatment plans to ensure you regain strength, mobility, and confidence in your movement.
Chronic back and neck pain can affect every aspect of life. We focus on hands-on therapy, mobilisation, and strengthening exercises to address the root causes of pain and provide lasting relief.
