Julie Gates Shiatsu Practitioner Surrey brings over two decades of experience to the mental health and holistic wellness field. She has dedicated her life to helping people recover from addiction and emotional struggles. Through hands-on healing, movement, and mindfulness, Julie empowers individuals to reconnect with their bodies and minds in a safe, nurturing environment.
Working extensively in rehabilitation centres and with professional athletes, Julie tailors every session with precision and compassion. At Life Works, where she has practiced for more than three years, she leads the shiatsu, stretch, and relaxation group. Her sessions seamlessly blend acupressure, Qi Gong, and meditation to foster natural relaxation and energy balance.
Julie trained at the British School of Shiatsu, one of the UK’s most respected institutions in Eastern bodywork. Her massage training was under the expert guidance of Claire Maxwell Hudson.
