Katie McLellan Integrative Therapist Sussex is a name that reflects both professionalism and heartfelt support. I’m Katie, and I work as an integrative therapist committed to helping you make meaningful changes in your life. I understand that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming. Yet, taking this step often leads to emotional growth, strength, and relief.
Therapy, like any meaningful relationship, begins with trust. When you feel safe and heard, you open up—and that’s when real progress starts. I bring warmth, empathy, and a flexible therapeutic style to each session. You won’t get a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I adapt to what you need most.
Many people come to therapy unsure of what’s wrong. You might feel stuck, anxious, or even in despair. It’s okay not to have all the answers. I help you explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment and with compassion.
As an integrative therapist, I blend different therapeutic approaches based on your individual needs. This method allows us to move at your pace and work with what suits you best. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, trauma, or major life transitions, the focus remains on what truly supports your healing.
In addition to private practice, I also work at the Priory. With over 20 years of experience in developmental services, I have helped countless individuals navigate complex emotional challenges. My time with Kent Fire and Rescue Service has deepened my understanding of trauma and PTSD, enabling me to offer informed and compassionate care.
I’m also a certified Mental Health First Aid and Suicide First Aid instructor. These roles have enhanced my ability to support clients in crisis with practical tools and deep empathy.
