Dr Ng began his journey in clinical paediatrics in 2006. In 2013, he pursued advanced training in Paediatric Infectious Diseases in Malaysia. His passion for helping children with immune-related conditions led him to a two-year fellowship in Paediatric Immunology, Infectious Diseases, Allergy, and haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) in Newcastle.

During his training, he managed challenging cases that required in-depth knowledge of infections and immune disorders. His hands-on experience built a strong foundation for his role as a specialist paediatric consultant.

Dr Ng further strengthened his expertise in the United Kingdom. He completed three years of Paediatric Immunology and Infectious Diseases (PIID) subspecialty training in Bristol.
