Lakeside Physiotherapy in Lincoln is led by Jason, a highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapist with over thirty years of professional practice. He graduated from the University of Teesside in 1995 with a First-Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy, the only student in his cohort to achieve this distinction. Alongside this, Jason earned the Valerie Lord Prize for his outstanding undergraduate research on “Physiotherapists’ Knowledge Level of HIV and AIDS.”
Jason began his career at Lincoln County Hospital, gaining broad clinical experience across orthopaedics, paediatrics, intensive care, general and respiratory medicine, rheumatology, and neurology. He later chose to specialise in musculoskeletal outpatient care and sports injuries, rising to a senior NHS position. Since then, he has worked extensively across the UK in freelance consultancy roles within public and private sectors, legal services, sports, wheelchair services, education, and the military.
In 2006, Jason established Lakeside Physiotherapy to create a more personalised and exclusive treatment experience for clients in Lincoln. The clinic blends classical ‘hands-on’ therapy with evidence-based practice, education, and client empowerment. This approach aims to speed up recovery, optimise results, and prevent injury recurrence.
Lakeside Physiotherapy offers expert musculoskeletal and sports injury treatments, with a strong focus on personalised care. Jason’s extensive knowledge also includes specialist assessment and management in occupational health and ergonomics. Since gaining a Master’s Degree in Health Ergonomics from the University of Derby in 2010, he has provided tailored advice on injury prevention in the workplace, helping reduce pain, disability, and productivity loss.
