Leeds Sports Physio is one of the region’s most respected physiotherapy clinics. Founded by David Stringer, the practice delivers expert treatment across a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. David has over 25 years of hands-on experience in sports injury management, postural correction, sciatica, and back pain treatment.
Throughout his career, David has worked with elite athletes and sports organisations. His previous roles include physiotherapist for Leeds Rhinos RLFC, Leeds Carnegie RUFC, and NEC Harlequins RUFC. He has also supported athletes at major international events such as the London 2012 Olympic Games, 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games, 2014 Glasgow Games, and 2022 Birmingham Games.
For 18 straight seasons, David played a key role within the England Rugby Union Elite Medical Department. He has worked with squads including the England First Team, England Saxons, and England Rugby Sevens. David has also toured South Africa with the England U18s. In addition, he regularly teaches Sports Trauma to professionals through the Rugby Football League and The FA.
In 2006, he transitioned into private practice, launching his own physiotherapy clinic in Leeds. Following rising demand, he opened a larger centre on Otley Road in Adel, North Leeds, in 2016. His approach combines clinical excellence with personal dedication, offering patients tailored and effective treatment plans.
