Let’s Talk offers expert psychotherapy and wellbeing support for adults, children, families, and organisations. The service is led by an accredited therapist registered with both the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and Social Work England. Clients benefit from safe, ethical, and confidential care delivered with warmth and professionalism.
With an enhanced DBS check and full professional indemnity cover, the therapist works to build trust and security from the first session. At Let’s Talk, therapy is always personal—each approach is tailored to your needs and goals.
Let’s Talk specialises in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to support a wide range of emotional and psychological issues. These include anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, and related concerns. Therapy begins with an assessment, then moves into a focused treatment plan. This structure helps you see progress and feel more in control. Sessions are adapted to reflect what you want to change and how you'd like life to improve.
Parenting can feel overwhelming. Sometimes, despite your best efforts, nothing seems to work. Let’s Talk provides supportive psychotherapy to children and their families. The therapist draws from approaches like attachment theory, the secure base model, and CBT. By working directly with children and/or parents, you’ll identify practical strategies to reduce tension and increase confidence. The goal is always to move away from feeling stuck.
Let’s Talk also works with organisations in both the public and private sectors. Sessions—either one-to-one or in groups—take place within health, education, and social care settings. These sessions explore what contributes to staff stress and burnout. More importantly, they provide tools to manage those pressures. Many employers have found this helps reduce sickness absence and improves team retention.
Before therapy begins, you’ll sign an agreement covering confidentiality, consent, and cancellation policies. It’s important to note that Let’s Talk does not operate as a crisis service. If you are at risk or feel unsafe between sessions, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or Samaritans on 116 123.
If you're over 18, everything discussed remains confidential. For those under 18, parental or guardian consent is required. All data is handled securely and only used in connection with your care. If any serious safety concern arises, your therapist may share information with relevant professionals.
