Welcome to my website. I’m Paula Gartland, a qualified Counsellor and an Advanced Trainee Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. I offer professional support to adults, children, and adolescents dealing with emotional and psychological challenges.

Taking the first step to seek help can be difficult, but it can also be life-changing. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where we can work together to address your struggles and find meaningful solutions. I provide a client-centred, compassionate approach that respects your unique needs and experiences.

Counselling for Adults
I offer individual therapy for adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and relationship problems. Together, we will explore the root causes of your difficulties and work towards strategies that improve your mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
As an Advanced Trainee Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, I support children and teenagers facing emotional and psychological issues such as low self-esteem, school-related stress, behavioural problems, and family challenges. My approach is age-appropriate, allowing young clients to express themselves in a comfortable and supportive environment.

Initial Consultation
I offer a 30-minute consultation with no obligation. This session allows you to ask questions, discuss your concerns, and get a sense of my approach. It’s an opportunity to decide if I am the right therapist for you before committing to further appointments.
