Manoj Sukumaran Consultant Psychiatrist Birmingham leads the early intervention in psychosis service. Since 2005, Dr. Sukumaran has worked as a consultant psychiatrist. He brings a wealth of experience from acute psychiatry, including inpatient settings. Furthermore, he serves as the medical lead for the Birmingham EIP service, ensuring high standards of care.
Dr. Sukumaran has a deep interest in young people’s mental health. He focuses on helping patients achieve functional recovery. His expertise covers psychotic and mood disorders, while he also treats anxiety, personality disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and stress-related conditions. Additionally, he applies his knowledge in various clinical settings to provide comprehensive care.

Dr. Sukumaran earned his Bachelor of Science in medicine and surgery (MBBS) in 1994.
