Marion Downey Psychologist Surrey has more than 15 years of psychotherapy and counselling experience. She works at Carlton Psychology and supports individuals, couples, teams, and a wide range of client types. Her integrative style helps clients find meaningful solutions that really work.
Marion co-founded Carlton Psychology to build a clinical practice that delivers high-quality care. She blends her psychotherapy work with her prior experience in senior corporate management and teaching. Over 10 years, she taught psychology to students who now practise as mental health professionals.
Marion uses an integrative approach. She draws on humanistic, psychodynamic, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT). She offers both short-term and long-term therapy. We also lead group workshops. Because she tailors therapy to each person, she meets clients where they are.
She creates a safe, non-judgemental space for exploration, she listens deeply and she asks insightful questions. We use evidence-based frameworks. Her clients learn practical tools to understand and transform life patterns, past experiences, and relationship dynamics.
