Welcome to Mark Greenaway-Robbins Counselling & Psychotherapy. I am a registered counsellor and psychotherapist with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), based in Cardiff. My practice is focused on providing compassionate and professional support for individuals and couples.
Having lived in Vancouver, Jerusalem, and Paris, I bring a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and how it shapes our experiences. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and focus on the inclusivity of neurodivergent experiences in therapy. My work is also informed by a sex-positive approach, especially with individuals and couples.
I am particularly interested in supporting those with life-limiting conditions, individuals in palliative care, and those navigating bereavement. Through my own experiences with therapy, I have seen the transformative power it can have and bring this insight to my practice.
At Mark Greenaway-Robbins Counselling & Psychotherapy, I offer tailored therapy services for individuals and couples. These services are designed to meet your unique needs and help you overcome challenges.
In individual counselling, I help clients explore personal difficulties such as mental health struggles, emotional distress, or life transitions. I take an integrative approach, meaning I adapt my methods to suit each client’s needs. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment for you to work through your concerns and find clarity.
Couples counselling focuses on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and deepening emotional connections. I offer a non-judgemental space where both partners can feel heard and supported. My approach helps couples navigate challenges and strengthens their relationships.
I specialise in bereavement support, offering compassionate care for those coping with loss. Whether you’re grieving the death of a loved one or facing anticipated loss, I provide a supportive environment to help you process your emotions and move forward with healing.
I offer therapy tailored to those with life-limiting conditions and individuals in palliative care. My services provide emotional support, helping clients manage the psychological and existential challenges of living with a serious illness.
Spirituality is an important aspect of therapy for some clients. Whether you’re exploring meaning or navigating existential questions, I provide space for these discussions if they are meaningful to you. However, if spirituality is not relevant to you, I will focus on your other needs and concerns.
Having worked in diverse environments, I offer culturally sensitive therapy that acknowledges and respects your background. I believe in exploring how heritage, identity, and culture shape your experiences and provide therapy that respects your unique identity.
My approach is person-centred, focusing on the therapeutic relationship. This approach creates a space for open exploration, allowing you to feel heard and understood. We will work together to tailor the therapy to best suit your needs and goals.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your personal growth, I invite you to contact me. Whether you need individual therapy, couples counselling, or support with life-limiting conditions, I am here to help. Together, we can explore your path to healing and transformation.
